Photo of Talented Kiambu Barber Who Shaves People's Heads With an Axe Elicits Reactions

A barber from Thindigua, Kiambu County has caused a stir online after photos of him shaving his clients with a sharp axe went viral. The barber charges Ksh. 300 for beards and Ksh. 500 for a full shave with customers flocking his shop to experience the unique method of shaving.

Julius Mwangi admitted that he started to use an axe for shaving as a way of attracting new customers which has perfectly worked well for him. The unique method of shaving has surprised Kenyans with many questioning how a sharp and large object like an axe can be used to shave someone. Standard Media shared the photos in their official tweeter account;

@StandardKenya In Thindigua, Kiambu County, Julius Mwangi has taken the shaving game a notch higher. For Sh300 (beard) and Sh500 (scalp), Mwangi skillfully wields a razor sharp axe to achieve a close shave.
