Kenya power limited has made this major announcement to Kenyans concerning a technical hitch affecting prepaid token generation and contact center interactions.
Tomorrow 29rd of april 2022 the following parts of Nairobi there will be blackouts from 9:00 a.m to 5.00 p.m Mathare mental Hospital, Muthaiga Golf Clubs, Wambui Road,Utalii Hotel and training school, old kiambu road, Ruaraka traffic headquarters,Muthaiga Square and adjacent customers.
Kenya Power said stemming system losses will be key in driving down the cost of power, and aims to cut it by three percent by the end of June which will pull the losses down to 20.5 percent.
In a statement, Kenya Power said that they have managed to address the IT hitch affecting the prepaid system that occurred yesterday evening.
Further, the power company noted that vending of tokens would remain slow due to a high number of customer transactions.
