Accidents on highways have been on the rise in the recent past with the government uncertain what to do to mitigate this scourge that has plagued our nation.
Accidents are allegedly caused by non-compliance with the highway code and the unconsciousness of some drivers on the roads according to reports from the National Transport and Safety Authority, NTSA.

This evening we have received bad news. That an accident has just occured at Mombasa indian Ocean.
According to the source, Athiani FM, a truck has just slipped off the MV Kwale Ferry and plugged into the Ocean.
The source has not revealed whether there is any casualties but rescue is under way to retrieve the truck.
This is not the first time a vehicle is plugging into the Ocean. Two years ago a mother and her daughter die after their car plugged into the Ocean.
