It's a fact that we all Live once, but majority of us if not all of us would love to live longer, so as to at least enjoy life more, to the fullest most probably, but the truth is that, several factors are reaponsible for how long one's life expectancy would be.
Social, economic, health and political factors play a big role in as far as our lives are concerned. Where there's peace, good health and food in plenty, people tend to live longer.
KNBS has revealed five counties in Kenya where People tend to live longer, this is after compiling the 2019 Census Data for this purpose. Accorsing to the Standard Media, the counties in Kenya where Kenyans live longer are in Eastern and Central Kenya regions.
Machakos County has the highest life expectancy age followed by Kitui County and Makueni; All these counties are from the Eastern Region of Kenya. Other counties include: Murang’a, Meru ,Kiambu, Nakuru, Kirinyaga and Embu.
According to the Standard Machakos has the highest (6,000) number of people aged 90 years and above, followed by Kitui with 5,700 people, Murang’a with 5,400, Meru with 5,300 and Kiambu with at least 4,000 people. These are the counties where one has the highest probability of seeing great grand children.
