Kinoti was told to surrender to prison and serve a four months jail term. This came after the Director of Criminal Investigation defied Court orders in 2018.
The court in 2018 directed the businessman Mr. Wanjigi to surrender his firearm certificate and seven guns he was in possession of.
Mr Kinoti denied being in custody of Mr. Wanjigi's weapons has he claimed civilian firearms are held by firearm licensing board not his office.
In his bid by the source, Mr Kinoti wants to pay Ksh. 200,000 to avoid jail or it's equivalent. As he said that he is into several national investigation for the security purposes of the country.
What are your thoughts as a Kenyan is it right for Kinoti to be in jail or perform his work?source
