A notorious knife wielding thug was arrested by police officers who were patrolling the surrounding area of Nairobi's Outer Ring Road.
Dickson Gatonga Njeri, was caught by police following the help of the public and victims of the heinous culprit.
Dickson, who's commonly known for terrorizing Huruma and Kariobangi areas, was found in the possession of a kitchen knife.
A statement by the National Police Service read, "He is a suspected notorious mugger who was positively identified by several victims and has been operating in Huruma and Kariobangi."
"The Multi-Agency security team in Nairobi County continues to record great success in accomplishing its objective of maintaining law and order. We thank the public for partnering with the security team and for volunteering information leading to the successful arrest."
Kenyans on social media have reacted to the arrest of the thief, hailing the officers involved for the good work.
