The police have arrested two women accused of drugging and robbing a man an unknown amount of money in Mwea, Kirinyaga county.
The Mwea Easy police commander Daniel Kitavi said that the two drugged and robbed the 32 year old man in a bar at Ngurubani on Saturday evening. The victim has stated that the two used a motorcycle rider to ride him to a lodging where they robbed him. The victim, who requested his identify to remain hidden for security reasons was taken to a local hospital and is currently under good health condition. It has been reported that the two suspects have been targeting men in Ngurubani, Kerugoya, Kagio, Sagana and other towns. The two are currently held at Wang'uru police station andwill be arraigned at Wang'uru court on Monday.
