A 79 years old man, Elijah Andreal Esani, in Kakamega has been arrested for Defiling a class six girl. Elijah was caught red handed yesterday March 12, with the 13 years old girl at his tea plantation near Iten secondary school.
The victim's mother says that the suspect was caught in the act by the security guard who works at her daughter's school. "My daughter was going to school in the morning when the old man dragged her into his tea farm where he defiled her. Her screams attracted the attention of the security guard who rescued her" her mother said.
She continues by saying that her daughter was bleeding from her private parts and she was in deep pain by the time she was being rescued.
The angry residents wanted to take the law on their hands but the suspect was being rescued by the police officers who were informed about the incident by the area chief.
The girl was taken to the hospital for treatment and the suspect was arrested and he is waiting to be arraigned in court on Monday.
