
Renowned KTN journalist Ken Mijungu had unfortunate incident where he was assaulted in Umoja. It is reported that Mijungu had gone to the area to drop a colleague. While there he was involved in an altercation that led him to get assaulted. He rushed to Buruburu Police Station where he reported the matter. While no one has been arrested yet, police are continuing with investigations.
Not wanting the case to become viral, Ken Mijungu has urged people to ignore it. Explaining how it happened, he said that he saw two people engaging in heated argument. He decided to play good Samaritan and told them to calm down and solve their differences amicably.
Mijungu says as he tried to diffuse the situation, one of the persons involved in the argument turned onto him and started assaulting him. Mijungu did not fight back but reported the case to police for investigations. Mijungu though has urged people to move on and not make a big deal of the situation.
