Information has been making rounds on social media platforms that the wife to the late Doctor James Gakara whom the police said killed his two children was planning to travel abroad without her husband's permission. The reports alleged that James Gakara was frastrated by her wife's decision throwing him into mental instability that may have affected his decision to kill their two children.
The family while speaking to Nation Africa has set the record straight concerning these weighty allegations. Winnie Adhiambo's sister, Roseline Odhiambo said that her sister and the doctor were in a happy relationship and the run away allegations are all lies. " The information making rounds on social media that my sister was planning to travel abroad without her husband's permission is false, James has always supported her in everything," Roseline cleared.
Odhiambo farther said that Winnie Adhiambo had began nursing classes at the Jomo Kenyatta hospital in Nairobi, Gakara was paying for all the costs. On the fateful day, James called and told her not to travel back to Nakuru, he said he would pick her up from Juja for an outing together with the children. They had also kept in touch the whole Saturday evening, there was no sign of a conflict nor a misunderstanding.
Police have no choice but close the Gakara file immediately toxicological examinations prove that the doctor died of excess insulin injection.
