One police officer assigned to the Recce Squad was killed after he sustained serious injuries in an attack by Armed thugs in Maze be area, Nakuru county.

According to a post shared by citizen tv on Twitter, police report released on Sunday indicated that Harrison Onywonki was in the company of his two brothers; Hezron Omwonga and Morara Omwonga when they were attacked by five group of armed gangs. The three were returning home from a family meeting in Nakuru centre before being ambushed by the suspected thugs.

Police report further indicated that the three brothers sustained serious injuries after they staged a fight to reclaim their phones which had been snatched by the suspected thugs.
