He was born and brought up in Busia. When he was in class 7, he mobilized some of his friends to start saving the little money they get from their parents.
One of their friends was appointed as the chairman and the treasurer. They were 5 boys and they were all active members. They had managed to save 2k. One day they returned home from school and found out the money was missing.
The employee in their home was missing. They went to his home and found him enjoying some snacks. They asked him whether he was the one who took their money. He admitted to having taken the money but promised never to pay them.
The boys were angry and they started beating him with sticks and a machete until he started apologizing. When he promised to pay back their money they left him. The following day Peter went to school but his friend didn't report to school.
After one hour police went to the school where he was arrested. His friends had run away after they realized that the boy they beat up died. He was charged with murder and stayed in prison but was later released.
