The introduction of the Electric Buses in Kenya has caused alot of mixed views among Kenyans. The buses have zero emissions and are less costly in terms of fuel consumption as they are rechargeable. Today, an electric bus was spotted along along the Expressway heading to the city. According to a post shared by Ma3Route channel on twitter, the bus had no touts hanging on doors as used to be in matatus.

Netizens shared mixed views with others saying that this may lead to eradication of Matatus plying the CBD causing emissions. As such, several conductors may lose their jobs. Video. https://twitter.com/Ma3Route/status/1582983160153149440?t=wLPbKwQ5YDB7UFtIzStvig&s=19
