A 12-year-old boy has shocked the residents of Miraa in Busia County after brutally killing his own brother following an altercation over football made of polythene.
According to reports, the boy was having fun moments playing in their compound while his brother was busy washing clothes. The boy is said to have accidentally hit his brother with the ball, something which turned out into heated argument.
The brother picked the ball and slashed it into pieces out of anger. The boy pretended to be okay and waited for his brother to resume his duty. According to eye witnesses, the irked boy pounced on the brother who didn't expect the attack and landed him some blows on the rib area.
He felt down on the ground and succumbed to the injury caused. Residents were shocked by the boy's action, blaming him for letting his anger dominate him.
The boy is currently under the custodian of the police pending investigations.
