The Kisii killings have left Kenyans unhappy, the elderly who have continued to be killed in the Kisii county are being suspected to be witchcrafts whom they have claimed to be bewitching the young people and other members of the society.
Something that worries more is that the accused are being killed by residents without evidence. Moreover, it is like when a person reaches the age of 50 years and above is a target. The society has lacked mercy and become inhuman.
Some of the suspects who killed the elderly people been arrested while others are still in hiding. The police are trying all their best to make sure that they have been arrested. The Inspector General of Police Hilary Mutuambai has condemned the incidents. He has cautioned the public against taking laws into their hands and causing harm to the innocent, he has further directed that every person found guilty or getting involved will be delt with according to the law.
