A sombre mood has been witnessed in Kihunguro, Ruiru, after a man slid and died while in his bathroom early in the morning.
According to the police reports, Charles Wachira Muchu, the deceased, had gone to his bathroom to take a bath before he met his untimely death.
According to Elizabeth Mukami, the wife of the deceased, her husband had gone to take a bath as usual but took long to come out. When she went to check on him, she found him unresponsive. She rushed him to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Confirming the incident is the area DCI boss, Justus Ombati who said that they have started investigation to unravel how the man died. The police boss added that his death might have been caused by the slippery floors in the house's bathroom.
The body of the deceased was taken to the morgue awaiting an autopsy.
