A prostitute has found herself in trouble after a client left the bill for her to pay. The client varnished leaving behind a bill of Ksh 6,000 after having a good time with her.
She painfully narrates how the man also stole her phone during the incident.“I met this man here in this bar while I was at work, he offered to buy me and my friends drinks before I give him my service. So we sat down and started drinking only for him to pretend that he is picking a call and never to come back, " Atieno said while shedding tears.
According to the devasted woman, Eric had also duped her into pretending that she was his sister. Atieno who said that she had no money at the time of the incident, pleaded with the management of the bar for her to do manual jobs in order to settle the bill. “I am ready to do any job in this pub to cover for my bills because the man even stole my phone so I do not have contacts to bail me out," Atieno added.
A resident who requested his identity to be concealed said that the women who involve themselves in such business often end up stealing from their clients.“ Some of the sex workers steal from their clients or even kidnap them and later ask for a ransom," he said.
The woman was handed to the police for further action to be taken against her.
