Truck Drivers were left stranded on Malaba Eldoret highway due to the ongoing World Championship Rally. The road was closed at noon and it's expected to be opened in the evening.
The good news is that the drivers coming from Eldoret to Malaba are allowed to pass bt those going to Eldoret from Malaba are forced to stop. Most of the drivers are heading to Mombasa and they have been complaining of late arrivals which will affect their reporting time to the Company yards. Most of the drivers who had not slept last night have found the perfect place to sleep and rest.

The Trucks are parked at Maili Tisa on Your way to kitale.
One of the drivers said "Mimi nimerauka ili niwai kufika Mombasa nafika hapa nakuta Barabara imefungwa,Itabidi nisubiri ndio niondoke ambapo Sasa nitafika Mombasa Kuchelewa.”
Do you think the Kenyan Government did the right thing to block the highway? Share your opinion in the comment section below.
