Survivor Recounts What The Bus Driver Told Her Last Before He Died Of Injuries.

8 people were killed on Saturday morning when a bus ferrying mourners from kisii to Naivasha collided head on with a truck carrying sand at maai mahiu.

Over 20 other people are battling for their lives in hospital after incurring various body injuries with others requiring specialized treatment in referral hospitals.

According to one survivor Rachel Wangari who spoke to citizen TV, she was asleep when the accident occured on Saturday morning having kept a night vigil in a funeral.

Rachel explained how she jumped out after being woken up by a big bang has to stop other vehicles to plead for assistance to very casualties to hospital.

She then had an opportunity to talk to the driver who told her that it's the truck driver who lost control and rammed into the bus.

This would later on turn out to be the last words she had from the driver because he succumbed to the injuries.

"I spoke to the driver and he told me that the Lorry driver hit us after Loosing control of his Lorry. So far i have heard that over 8 people have already died", Wangari told citizen TV.

Wangari has God to thank as she only managed to escape with minor scratches.
