Mother of The Boy Killed in Girl's School Speaks as Photos of Him Surfaces Online

Brian Mbage died after he was allegedly beaten for forcing his way into a girl's secondary school. The 17-year-old was in the company of five other boys from Gathiruini Boys when they sneaked into Komothai Girls’ High School.

Speaking to the press, the mother of the deceased, Mary Mbage, is not convinced the boy died from injuries sustained by the mob on that fateful day. She insists that his death could have been caused by something else after seeing the body.

“I have seen the body of my son, and I am so saddened. The injuries on his body do not show any [signs of] beatings, but the ones on his head shows he died from trauma,” said the distraught mother.

In a twist, Brian's aunt Wanjiku Mbage said that the administration of his school told them that the boy jumped from the fourth floor and succumbed to the injuries on arrival at the hospital.

Ms Mbage described him as a hardworking, disciplined and jovial boy. Burial arrangements are ongoing as police have started investigation.
