Taking to social media on Sunday morning (5th December), Akothe claims it's the most painful scenario seeing people die.
"🙏🙏🙏🙏 Mwingi painful is an understatement. This is deep. Seeing this bus stop here for some minutes before it sinked into the river is heartbreaking 😭. May God console the families and Mwingi at large lit jows. Pole Sana 🙏" posted Akothe as she shared a photo of the ill-fated schoolbus.

Akothe's heartfelt post comes at time the death toll in the Kitui River account has been reported to have hit 23 having 15 of the deceased being family members.
However, the search for the remaining bodies is currently ongoing while the Government has urged Kenyans to be extra careful moreso during this rainy season as we approach the end of the year.
May the souls of the departed rest in eternal peace as the Almighty God strengthens their families and friends in this hard times.
