Cyrus Oguna Finally Breaks Silence on Who Will Clear the Confusion on Operating Hours for Bars

The government will finally communicate on the operating hours of bars and restaurants in the country after the confusion that emerged on Wednesday evening.

This has been revealed by the Government spokesperson Cyrus Oguna who has noted that the confirmation will be made by the Cabinet Secretary in charge of the Ministry of Health CS Mutahi Kagwe.

The communication will be made during the daily briefing on the status of the novel Corona virus pandemic in the country which is normally issued by the Ministry through either the Cabinet Secretary or his Chief Administrative Secretaries.

A confusion arose yesterday after the cabinet secretary in charge of the Ministry of Tourism Najib Balala said that the normal operation hours had resumed following Uhuru's lifting of the curfew.

However, the National Police Service noted that the listing of the curfew had not affected the operation hours for bars and restaurants in the country which came as a shocker to most of the Kenyans who take alcohol and who had hoped to enjoy themselves.
