Kenyan police officer has today beaten up a lady over allegations that she was a man but pretended to be a woman.
This has come into the public knowledge after the lady identified as Ruth Kennedy who fell victim of police harassment and brutality confessed her ordeal on her twitter account.
According to her post,the police beat her up since she had a beard claiming that she was a man pretending to be a woman.
She further narrates that the officer went to an extent of pulling down her tshirt to confirm whether she had breasts a thing that really showed the level of disrespect in the police department.
She goes on to ask her fellow followers to share the video widely to create awareness of the police brutality in the country.
"Basically the police was beating me up because I have a beard claiming that I am a man who is pretending to be a woman, he even pulled my t-shirt to see kaa niko na boobs."
