Bungoma; How Murder Suspect Tricked And Escaped From Custody

Drama and confusion in Bungoma.

Murder suspect has escaped from custody.

Narrating the scene; the murder suspect, Evans Ndiewa, 34, tricked an officer identified as Paul Rop that he wanted to go to the toilet.

At the time, officer Paul who was on duty at Cheptais Police Station agreed to escort Evans to toilet, little did he know that the suspect had other plans.

Evans ended up jumping over the nearest fence and ran towards Cheptais Secondary School.

Afterwards, alarm was raised and officers who were on standby tried to go after the suspect.

Unfortunately, the officers haven't re arrested the murder suspect.

According to them, their have launched their investigations.

So far, Other officers have been sent to Evans' rural home where it is believed he first went.

Note; Ndiewa was scheduled to be arraigned before Sirisia Law Courts on Tuesday, January 18.
