Kenya's Former Attorney General, James Karugu, Who Served During Moi's Era Dies At 86 Years

Kenya's Attorney General who served during Moi's era, 1980- 1981 has died at an age of 86 years. His family has confirmed his death. James Boro Karugu succeeded Late Charles Njonjo during Moi's era.

According to the available reliable reports that we have with us, is that, Former Attorney General James Karugu has died at the age of 86 years.

The sad news have been relayed by his family who confirmed his passing on.

The Kenya's second Independence Era Attorney General, James Boro Karugu, is said to have been in office from the year 1980 to 1981 before he resigned as he revealed in an interview in 2020. According to reports, he resigned from office for farming.

Kenya has had many Attorney Generals but perhaps the most famous have been Charles Njonjo and Amos Wako.
