Unyama! Tout Throws Out Woman From Moving Matatu Because Of This

The family of late Judy Wanjiku Nyaga from Githambo in Kiharu Constituency who was working with Equity Bank, Ruiru branch is seeking for justice for their loved one. Who on Saturday 6th February 2021 at around 6.30 pm, was thrown out of a moving vehicle by a conductor at Juja stage a few metres from the police post.

The driver tried to run over her before she was saved by nearby car wash attendants. The vehicle belongs to MEMBA SACCO and is of registration number KCZ 729C. They reported the incident at Juja police post under OB no.67/06/02/2021.

She was taken for medical check up at Ruiru hospital and later at Thika level 5 hospital where she was pronounced dead.

At the time of incident the two victims, John Njoroge and 26-year-old Judy Wanjiku Nyaga, seemed to have incurred slight injuries on their hands and legs.

Juja OCS Dorothy Mugarisha said that the incident was first reported on Saturday, February 6, when the two victims walked into the station after they were violently shoved out of the vehicle over a disagreement over fare.Following the fatality report, Ocs said they tracked the vehicle that was involved in the incident to Mwea where it was impounded and taken to the local police station.

Police officers launched a serious manhunt over the driver and his conductor who have gone on a hid after they threw two of their passengers out of their moving vehicle near Jkuat Main Campus, leading to the death of one of the victims a day later.
