Martha Karua Calls For Action From CS Alfred Mutua After Kenyan Girls Are Seen Begging in Lebanon

The Middle East has been a thorn in the flesh of many young girls who decide to venture into the world of domestic world in the Arabian Gulf.

There have been numerous complaints over the situation in the Gulf region with some girls even losing their lives as per the reports that we have with us.

This morning, reports emerged that sixteen Kenyan girls who had migrated to Lebanon to look for work in hopes of a better life, were stranded and begging in the streets.

The 16 Kenyan girls story was aired by a local newspaper this morning and a few moments ago, the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance Leader Martha Karua, has called for action.

In a social media post this morning while reacting to the news, Martha Karua has asked the Foreign Affairs Ministry to spring into action and save the girls.
