Billy Chemirmir a Kenyan-born but living in the United States of America has been indicted in the deaths of 18 elderly people in Texas, USA. According to report released by the police, the man has been accused of killing and stealing from the victims in the States.
Police say that his victims were aged between 75 and 94. It is alleged that Chemirmir allegedly posed as a health care or maintenance worker to gain access to his victim's houses and places of residence then robbed them of their jewelry after murdering them in cold blood before disappearing without a trace.
He is scheduled to go on trial for one of the alleged killings in April of this year after his case was mentioned early this year. The accused is being held at Dallas County Jail after failing to raise $11.6 million (Ksh1.27bn) bail as his family seeks help to raise the amount.
