Nicholas Nthiga a 42-year-old man based in Tharaka Nithi county has agreed and confessed to the police officers to have killed his fellow fish vendor Geoffrey Mukunda aged 34 years, who had failed to pay for the stock he took.
According to the reports Nicholas Nthiga had some misunderstanding with Geoffrey Mukunda who had failed to pay back his money for the fish stock he took.
Angered Nicholas Nthiga come for his money and that's where the two started arguing, they argued for a while, and this is when Geoffrey Mukunda jumped over Nicholas Nthiga and hit him, his act angered Nicholas Nthiga who got furious, he took a knife and stabbed his colleague Geoffrey Mukunda to death.
Their area chief confirmed the incident and later on information the police officer, Nicholas Nthiga was taken to the police station for his actions, he is currently detained at Marimanti police station in Tharaka Nithi county.
