Angry scene was witnessed from a little known Thamada village, Kikuyu constituency, Kiamby county in the former Central province after a nanny,23, was beaten to almost death by her female boss for allegedly giving kids some alcohol to sleep unconsciously and get an opportunity to invite her lover in the house.
According to Grace Wanjiku, a neighbour or rather resident, the suspect is a drug addicts and spends most of the time moving from one alcohol bar to another taking illegal brew and smoking bhang, have been implicated in similar cases before.
Conferming the incident, the area senior chief Mr Boniface Mwangi disclosed the accused was rescued by police officer who were in patrol and rushed her to Thika level five hospital where he was hospitalized. "She sustained serious injuries on the head and legs but is responding well to treatment and will be discharged any time from the facility." He said.
