On Friday a man in Kangemi beat and seriously injured his wife after that she had other two children upcountry.The man identified as Den Ochieng who is said to have married Caren Owino as his second wife in his Nairobi home situated in Kangemi.

Dan Ochieng got second thoughts after his wife kept asking him for money to send her two daughters in rural area.
According to a statement recorded by Caren in a nearby police station , Ochieng assaulted her and became so angry after she requested ksh.500 to send to the village where her two daughters live.
Ochieng told her he cannot spend his hard earned money feeding other men's children before beating her
Owino who is 35 years old accepted of injuring his wife and was charged a ksh.50000 fine or serve six months in jail
Awino requested the kibera law court to withdraw the the case.
