Police in Nairobi are looking into an incident that happened this morning after a thief broke into an Equity Bank and started a fire.
The informant claims that the criminal started the fire while attempting to enter the bank. A number of attendees who were there for services are said to have been hurt.
Civilians, security personnel, and bank employees who were present during the robbery are among those who were hurt.
The Equity branch will be temporarily closed until further notice, according to a statement from the Equity management team, to give the police more time to conduct their investigations.
Before one of the cops shot and killed the offender, he engaged multiple police officers. Although authorities are currently conducting their investigations, no other offenders were discovered inside the bank.
A few years ago, bank robberies were on the decline, but it now appears that they have returned. What do you think about this? For more updates, kindly like, share, follow, and comment below.
