Abodaboda rider died last evening on a fatal road accident.The accifent involved the rider and a track along Kisii-Kilgoris road.photo:The accident.
Eye witness said that the deceased was moving at a very high speed from Kilgoris to Magena town. When he reached at Nyambunwa point,he met with atrack. "He rammed into the track and had head on collison," reported Dominic Nyamasege.He said that the driver of the track tried to control speed but his vehicle outwitted him then landed into a ditch.However, the driver of the track and his conductor escaped from it unhurt.The pedestrians tried to do first aid to the affected Bodaboda operator but he was already dead.They called it a sad evening for the family that lost their loved one.oved one.
The police from Magena statition, visited the scene.They identified the body as Duncan Onsarigo of Kiru village in Bomachoge constituency. The body was taken to Kisii Teaching And Referral Hospital for post mortem pending police invedtigstions.
Kisii county police commander Jabel Munene, confirmed the accident. He asked the motorists to be careful on the roads especially at this time of the heavy rain season.
