Runyenjes MP Eric Muchangi Karemba has sent an encouraging message to renowned philanthropist and Kikuyu gospel musician Karangu Muraya who is currently admitted at the Nairobi Hospital.

Muraya was hospitalized on Tuesday night after his legs started swelling last week leaving him in a lot of pain.

Muchangi prayed for Muraya's healing saying he deserves the best since he has been helping a lot of needy people who sought help from him.

"We have seen you touch lives and transform situations. There are many witnesses to this. What you may not know is that there are many people who pray to God for you. May the Lord be with you every minute of your life," he posted on Facebook.

The UDA legislator asked his party leader President William Ruto to give Muraya a State commendation noting he had selflessly rendered his services to the country.

"You deserve appreciation and even state commendation. I know soon William Samoei Ruto will do something," Muchangi said.

In a rejoinder, the artist said: "Thanks a lot my brother Hon. Muchangi Karemba, may Jehovah hear your prayers."
