The family has been left in questions of how their kin who is mentally retarded can killed by mob justice over something he didn't do.
Abdallah Thalahati, aged 24, went missing on 17th April 2022. His family thought that he would return home as normal after being released from the Kwale Special school, where her schools, but he didn't.
The family started a search for him and heard that he had followed a horse as he was coming from school and lost his way home.
Abdalla decided to sleep infront of a shop in Kijiweni area. Unfortunately, the same shop got robbed on that fateful night. Furious residents descended on Abdalla with kicks and blows until he met his death over the robbery.
The family has now pleaded for help from HAKI Africa to ensure that their kin gets justice.
