Police this evening have impounded a passenger with cannabis sativa worth million of shillings in Nairobi,according to Directorate criminal of investigation official Facebook page,they revealed that the cannabis was headed in Nairobi but police had flagged it down in southern bypass,police claimed that marijuana was coming from malaba with passengers,three among them being Catholic missionaries who part of the passengers,detectives further disclosed that the nuns were not part of syndicate but were only passengers who had traveled with the car.
Detectives said that the three nurses were headed to a missionary covenant in Karen and they had just boarded the vehicle without knowing what was inside,the three nurses were reciting there rosaries when detectives flagged down the vehicle which was transporting marijuana,detectives added that when the driver was flagged to stop he started speeding that's when police officers decided to chase him.
However the driver managed to escape from his car leaving nurses reciting there rosaries,detectives impounded the car and took it to langata police station,upon being impounded 35 litres of chang'aa was found and 13 bales of marijuana inside the car.
