DP William Ruto firing a past file photo.
This is after police officers interrupted the burial arrangements of the late MCA earlier on Tuesday morning in Taita Taveta county by bringing down tents.
While condoling with the family of the deceased, the DP blamed bad politics for the move and asked them for forgiveness.
The second in command has also given the family a personal donation of Ksh 300,000 as they mlurn their loved one.
“We are apologizing to you the family for what transpired earlier. I want to ask for forgiveness for all that because I am a government leader. When things that annoy the public happen, I must take that responsibility. We have all come here to give our friend a befitting send-off but unfortunately, it has been marred with small political issues and that is why we are apologizing,” he said.
Deputy president William Ruto claimed that those who were against him are still the same people who are out to frustrate everyone that he supports in the country.
He has since noted that the powers of darkness will one day be defeated and people will see the light and they will no longer Suffer like they are doing.
