The initiative dubbed Carakana a project will be spearheaded by the first lady mama Rachel ruto who is expected to be the pattern of the initiative across all the 47 counties.
The first lady is keen on ensuring that prisons within the country get better services despite claims that prisoners who are enclosed in this prisons are ironing for reforms and change.
First lady is known to be a woman who is keen on ensuring that women empowerment is given a top priority in Ruto's administration even as she embarks the world's international women day today. Several leaders accompanied the first lady mama Rachel ruto to the event today
