That survivor was among the Choir members that were being ferried to a wedding event. According to the news report that has been shared online, the survivor is thanking God for giving him another chance to be alive in this world.
He has said that as the bus was Submerging inside a flooded river he saw darkness inside that bus hence being unable to see or identify his fellow choir members. His mind reminded him that something was not working and he reacted appropriately by finding some space that can allow him to see light.
He immediately rushed into a backdoor as the bus was turning upside down, while at the backdoor he saw a ray of light and he tried swimming until he escaped that death.
