Revealed: Eye Witnesses Recount How Guardian Bus Carrying 21 People Plunged into a River in Kisii

Early in the morning of Saturday 26th November, Kenyans woke up with the news of a bus ferrying passengers had plunged into a river in Kisii County.

The Guardian Angel bus which had twenty-one passengers on board plunged into a river in Nyamirambe area in Kisii County in an accident that the bus driver cannot be blamed.

According to Citizen news reports, eye witnesses claimed that a lorry ferrying goods lost control and rammed into the bus making it crash into the river in the early morning accident.

Luckily, there were no casualties from the accident as only three sustained serious injuries while other passengers suffered soft tissue injuries.

The County commander, Dr Mutungi Musyoki confirmed this incident as he lauded the residents for quick action of pulling the passengers out of the wreckage.

Locals of the area called out for bumps to be erected at the scene as well as put street lights to avoid a future accident.
