More than 200,000 Residents Baringo ravaged by Hunger as they Decry to GOVT for Intervention

Residents of Baringo County are asking the national government to increase relief food allocations to the area to cushion them from the ravages of drought and famine.

The residents also want the government to assist in the uptake of livestock as they are unable to sustain their flock were equally in need of pasture and water.

The impact of the failed rains in Baringo County continues to be felt water sources have all but dried up man and animals compete for the little drops to be found in the most unconventional of ways.

It is now estimated that 4.3 million Kenyans are suffering from Hunger with the calls for non-governmental entities to intervene to mitigate the impact of drought in the country.
