Another Road to be Constructed Linking The Expressway to Nairobi Nakuru Highway.

Kenya is on an upward trajectory towards building infrastructure. From the largest expressway in Africa to now another mega road project aimed at connecting the road to the Rift Valley, the government is determined to leave a worthy legacy.

The expressway which traverses the counties of Machakos from Mlolongo through Nairobi will end in Rironi, Kiambu county. From Rironi the president announced that the road will take a new dual Carriageway which will be constructed soon to connect it to the Nairobi Nakuru Highway. This will link the road to the Rift Valley region opening up the place for further development and growth. This will be an interchange with the MauMau road which is currently under construction and the longest in the region.

The mega dual Carriageway is scheduled to start from March after the scheduled completion of the expressway. This will be an improvement from the current one way traffic and it's expansion will accommodate the huge number of traffic flow from Mombasa road.
