The early morning shooting by a rogue police officer identified as Constable Benson Imbasi left Kenyans shocked and stunned by the turn of events that led to the incident that left eight dead, including the officer.
Several reports indicated that police constable Benson Imbasi used to be stationed at Kabete police station was furious with his girlfriend, Carol because he suspected that she was cheating on him.
According to Tuko News podcast, family details of the rogue police officer have revealed that he was married and had three children who lived with his wife in Ikolomani, Kakamega County.
The reports claim that the 53 years old senior officers who claimed his girlfriend was having an affair had a lovely wife who was living far in Western while he was in Kiambu.
