After sneaking into a girls' school, a Form Four boy was lynched.

gAfter leading a group of male students into Komothai Girls Secondary School in Kiambu County, a Form Four boy was beaten to death.

According to a police report filed at Kibichoi Police Station in Githunguri Sub County, the incident occurred at 4:17 a.m. on Thursday, October 21.

The deceased 17-year-old was said to have led five other male students from Gathiruini Boys High School into the neighboring girl's school.

They had gotten away from their school and trespassed into ours." "Some people saw them at Phoebe House, the girls' dormitory," recalled a security guard who reported the incident to the police station.

He went on to say that the targeted girls screamed, drawing the attention of the security guards, the teacher on duty, and the headteacher.

When they realized that their well-oiled plot had been foiled, the six schoolboys dashed for safety.

Five of them appear to have remembered their escape plan and sneaked out of the school with a mob of students and staff baying for their blood.

The five escaped unharmed, leaving their Form Four colleague at the mercy of an enraged mob.

"The adolescent was beaten by students and staff and suffered physical injuries to his head and forehead."

"He was rushed to Kigumo Level IV Hospital in an unconscious state but died while receiving treatment," a police report excerpt states.

The body was transported to the Kigumo mortuary, where an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.

The crime scene was visited and documented by a team of detectives led by the Kibichoi Officer Commanding Police Station (OCS). As the investigation into the incident began, murder weapons made of stones and sticks were discovered.
