Detectives probing the rape and murder of Velvine Nungari say that she might have been assaulted by more than one assailant. Details coming from DCI show that detectives are after a number of suspects.

Various person's of interest mapped out from the area of Kiamumbi will be questioned by detectives as the probe continues. The main suspect, Joseph Murimi, who alleges that he left an hour early might be in more trouble as hotel staff say they saw him leave in the morning. Police have been granted leave to hold the suspect for ten more days as they wrap up the investigation.
Motive of the murder of the 24 year old is still sketchy but detectives believe they will nab more suspects. She died at KUTRH with fluid deposits showing signs of sexual assault by more than one man.
The country continues to show its solidarity with the family of Velvine and pray that the suspects will be brought to book.
