Heavy Rainfall Expected as From Tomorrow In The Following Parts of the Country, Weatherman Warns

Kenyans have been warned against heavy rainfall that is expected over several parts of the country as from tomorrow. According to the report shared by the Kenya Meteorological Department through their official social media platforms, the Highlands West of Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria Basin and the South Rift Valley including Kisii, Nyamira, Trans Nzoia, Baringo, Uasin Gishu, Vihiga, Bungoma, Busia, Kericho and Nandi are expected to receive rains as from tomorrow until Wednesday next week. Therefore members of the public urged to prepare adequately before that time comes.

Morning rains are expected over several as from day one of the weather forecast period. However, during the second half of the forecast period, intermittent rains are likely over few places. Afternoon showers and thunderstorms are expected to occur over few places. Nights are expected to be be partly cloudy but occasional showers may occur over few places during the second half of the weather forecast period.

The North and Central Rift Valley including Trans Nzoia, Uasin Gishu, Elgeyo Marakwet, West Pokot, Baringo and Nakuru Counties are expected over several parts of the region. Days are likely to receive sunny intervals as from tomorrow onwards. However occasional afternoon showers may occur over few places.

North Western Kenya especially Turkana and Samburu counties are expected to receive rains as from tomorrow until Monday next week. Days are likely to be sunny and nights partly cloudy. Occasional nights showers morning rains may occur over few places during the second half of the forecast period.

The Highlands East of Rift Valley including Nairobi Nyandarua, Laikipia, Nyeri, Murang'a, Kirinyaga, Embu, Meru, Tharaka Nithi and Nairobi Counties are also expected to receive rains.

Morning are likely to experience sunny intervals, however occasional rainfall is expected during the second half of the forecast period. Afternoon and nights are likely to occur over few places during the second half of forecast period.
