On Saturday morning a Guardian Angel Bus which was traveling from Nairobi to Migori with 20 passengers onboard plunged into Nyambera River near Kisii town an accident that has raised eyebrows.
According to the eye witness, the driver of the bus was keen and cautious on the road, however he was pushed by an overloaded lorry which was descending a steep hill in the area before ramming into the bus from behind.
The eye witness claimed that the lorry had a problem with the brakes thereby making it hard to control the accident which for Rd the bus to plunge into the river.
Out of the 20 passengers who were on board 19 encountered minor injuries as they were rushed to a nearby hospital in Kisii county.
This comes amid increased number of accidents reported countrywide with many casualties reported everyday. Drivers have been called to be very careful on the road especially in this festive season.
