Hawker Selling Water Dies After Getting hit by bus Along Mombasa Road

A 20-year-old woman died after she was involved in a grisly accident along Nairobi-Mombasa road.

The woman identified as Eunice Ndinda a hawker at Sultan hamud in Makueni was knocked down by a bus belonging to Dreamline Express company.

The vehicle was heading to Nairobi from Mombasa at the time of the accident.

The accident was confirmed by Makueni police commander Josh Ole Napeiyan who said that the bus on reaching the scene was trying to overtake other vehicles before hitting the woman.

At the time of the accident, the woman was selling water to two people on a motorbike.

Thereafter she was rushed to Sultan Hamud hospital for medical attention but died while receiving treatment.

The body was moved to the morgue for reservation awaiting post moterm and burial arrangements.

A month ago a middle-aged man was knocked at Emali while selling water to a lorry driver.
