The body of the slain olympian medalist the late Agness Tirop was transported from Eldoret Hospital Mortuary and received at her home in Mosoroit, Nandi county in an emotional manner ahead of the burial.
The late Agness Tirop was brutally murdered a few days ago by the person she loved and belied to be her husband. Detectives managed to launch investigations and her killer by the name of Ibrahim Rotich was nabbed and detained.
Rituals were performed by Nandi community elders to cleanse the home of the late Tirop, her father warned the family of her husband not to attend the burial ceremony.
None of the husband's family members have broken the silence about the mysterious death of the dependent Kenyan athletic Agnes. His husband is awaiting to be reign in court as more investigations are ongoing.
The entire burial ceremony of the late Agnes is approximate to cost 5 Million. Huge numbers of leaders and athletes including Javelin champion David Rudisha among others have shown up to the home of their late colleague for a peaceful send-off. May her soul rest in peace.
