Police are investing sting how a woman who goes by the name Jackline Mugure Maina succumbed to death after a stray bullet hit her while she was on a tuk tuk.

The woman who was known to be a vender was hit by the bullet on her neck while in transit inside a tuk tuk and thought that she had been stubbed.She alighted the tuk tuk and tried to reach out to traffic police officers who were controlling traffic when she fell and died.

This incedent took place when plainclothed police officers were chasing margers who have been terrorizing kamukuji residents for a given period of time.

According to a pathologist report,the bullet bullet was fired at a trajectory and hit the woman on her neck and got stuck on her spinal cord.

The police commander in kamukuji has termed the report true and accidental citing that the incident happened while police officers were in persuit of margers.

This incedent sparked a series of demonstrations in kamukuji from the residents,who cited that the use of live bullets should be limited in public and busy places.They were latter dispersed by police officers and the body taken to city mortuary.
